I'm currently testing the new version, and i see the rrdtools are still buggy, is there something else i need to install? i appreciate the help on this

Usually you can see the connections logs of the script in the /var/log/squid/access.log
Check if the file

/usr/share/artica-postfix/bin/install/rrd/squid-rrd.pl

is correct (not empty)

I have see that

/usr/share/artica-postfix/bin/install/rrd/squid-rrdex.pl

has wrong values in the perl code.
Currently the daemon did not change to the correct values,
I hope that next version will change it.
Try to change manually values in the correct way.

of

/usr/share/artica-postfix/bin/install/rrd/squid-rrdex.pl

And execute /usr/share/artica-postfix/bin/install/rrd/squid-rrdex.pl

and it's working
