Hello,

I got this info:

ClearOS Enterprise 5.1
Price: Free - OPEN SOURCE AND FREE
Website: www.clearfoundation.com/Software/overview.html
A well thought-out distribution that's refreshingly easy to use and expand to suit your needs.
Rating: 9/10

IPCop 1.4.21
Price: Free
Website: www.ipcop.org
Its interface doesn't look great, but it protects
your network effectively.
Rating: 8/10

eBox Platform 1.4
Price: Free
Website: www.ebox-platform.com
Don't be put off by the seemingly overwhelming interface,
because this offers so much more than a firewall.
Rating: 9/10

ebox is a artica competitor.

ClearOS Enterprise 5.1 - The installation are made through a iso cd with debian
http://www.clearcenter.com/support/docu ... ion_wizard

IPCop can be a good solution, but the latest version is from 2008

Hi David,

This is the reply to your questions

Hello,

You can not "insert" csf into another product. You may not modify any of
the code in the csf product. If you are not using one of the supported
control panels (cPanel, DA or webmin) then you must use csf with the
command line interface only.

The documentation for csf including install and readme documents are at
the bottom of this page:

http://www.configserver.com/cp/csf.html

Please also read the license agreement which can be found on that page
as well.

This is very funny : "You must use" so they ban any web interface development for CSF !!??

Hello Andre,

You can run the csf commands (the command line interface) through your
web interface, but you may not change any of the scripts or take any of
the code from any of the csf scripts to use in your own scripts or web
interface.

Sarah Michaelson

I think...

Shall we ask them permission to use CSF with Artica?

It is used in Webmin.

I think we should try to ask permission
