Updating Artica Core version

To update Artica Core version, you have 2 ways.

1) Update Artica Core manually

Download the tgz package artica-x.x.xxxxx.tgz  and do

tar -xf  artica-x.x.xxxxx.tgz -C /usr/share

/etc/init.d/artica-postfix restart

2) Update Artica Core automatically.

This section drive the /usr/share/artica-postfix/bin/artica-update process.

 


 

  1. On The user interface select in the left menu  System/Auto-Update Artica Core
  2. Define the check interval in minutes to allow artica to get new releases information.
  3. Enable/disable the auto-install feature.

 


 

(If you disable this feature, artica-update will just download the update package and wait your order to install it in the Update List section.)

To debug the update process do

    /usr/share/artica-postfix/bin/artica-update --update --force --verbose

for more debugging

   /usr/share/artica-postfix/bin/artica-update --update --force --verbose debug

You can view the events of update process in the Daemon Events section
