Backup and restore your server trough AutoMount Center

This feature is available in Artica 1.3.112518 version

It allow you to backup mandatories datas on a remote resource and restore them from a new server.

It useful to transfer datas to a new server or restore a server after a crash.

Schedule your backup with AutoMount Center.

  • Browse your computers and select the computer will be in charge of store your backup containers.

 

  • Click on Network Resources Tab
  • You will see remote resources available on your target computer.
    If you dont see anything, define the "Share Access" by adding a new user that is allowed to parse shares directories.
  • Click on Add Auto-connection

  • Once the connexion is added, you will see in the list your new Automount connexion. 
  • Click on the "backup" link under the connexion.

 

 

  • The backup form will add for you a new schedule using your automount selected resource. A default schedule is added. You can modify it by click on  the appropriate icon.
  • Click on Edit button to enable the backup schedule.

 

Restore your backup.

 

  • Add a new widget called AutoMount Center
  • Select it.

 

  • Click on the "restore" link under the resource listed.

  • A new form will display the list of available backup containers.
  • Select a container you want to restore.

 

  • Click on the Restore From Resource now and wait few times.
  • You can see the progress with events on the center area.
