Control and monitor storage systems with SMART

with Artica 1.3.062301 you will be able to monotir your hard drives with SMART tools.

SmartMonTools is in charge to control and monitor storage systems using the Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology System (S.M.A.R.T.) built into most modern ATA and
SCSI hard disks. it includes support for ATA/ATAPI-5 disks.

To add this feature, you need to install it using the Applications setup Center.

Choose System package tab
Click on install & Upgrade on the SMART hard Disk... row.

Once installed, you need to back to "Manager your Server" top menu link.

Select "System information" icon on the left side.
Choose "Internal Hard drives" icon.
Select on the list your prefered hard drive you want monitor

If SmartMonTools is correctly installed, you will be able to see a top menu called "SMART Hard disk monitoring"
Click on this icon
A new interface is displayed that allow you to read more informations on your hard disk.
