Artica is designed to helps you quickly to build your first Virtual Private Network
This topic use the Artica Wizard designed to help you create first settings.
With Artica you will be able to create a VPN between computers linked trough Internet to your Internal office network.
First, go into the OpenVPN section:
- Click on system on the left menu.
- Select "gateway mode" Icon
- Choose OpenVPN icon
Select the wizard by clicking on "Start First Settings" icon
The first step is to generate a certificate and a Pulbic key for the server.
Fill the required information that will be used to generate the keys.
The second step is to define the server parameters:
The listen port will be the port that remote computer will use to establish the VPN discuss, so you need to create a firewall rule that will translate the defined port to the Artica server.
After finish, you can click on "Apply OpenVPN settings" in order to restart the OpenVPN daemon and start the VPN connections.
