This feature is active if your artica version is up to 1.3.030300
It allow to add an HTML/Text disclaimer in all outgoing messages with amavis content filter addon.
Amavis will send outgoing messages to AlterMIME tool.
If this tool is not installed, you can install it by going into Application Setup Center
So you need to enable amavis has the mail content filter.
If you want to use this feature, artica will change the amavis postfix hooking method.
Usually artica will set amavis has milter "pre-queue" method. But this method did not allow amavis to change the content of the message.
So if you enable disclaimer, the hooking method will be switched to post-queue postfix method.
There is no really impacts on the routing mail and the configuration.
To enable and change the disclaimer
- On the left menu, choose messaging
- Click on the mail inside the Postfix Status on the main page.
- On the Amavisd-new main popup
- Select the "Disclaimer with AlterMIME" icon
- Turn the red circle to green and click on edit button
- The popup will be refresh
- It show you a new icon called Edit Your Disclaimer
- Click on this icon
- A new web page is displayed that allow you to change the disclaimer content.
- To save the content, you have a disk mini-icon on the top left of the redactor.
- Once the disclaimer is saved, Apply your settings by clicking on Save & Apply your Policies
