This feature is enabled since 1.3.021400 version
You can open the LDAP server to serve remote client has a global internal Address Book server. Â
Enable Address Book Feature
- On the left menu, click on System/index section
- Click on Services & Applications tabÂ
- Click on Address Book Icon

- Enable the service by clicking on the red circle and switch it to green.
 On the remote client (Thunderbird)
Choose the Adress Book and select File/new/LDAP Directory
The hostname
is the IP address or the name server that store Artica.
The base DN
Is the ou=[your organization name],suffixÂ
if you didn't remember the suffix do
cat /etc/ldap/slapd.conf|grep suffix
BIN DN
Must have these strings :
cn=artica username,ou=artica organization,suffix
 if seetings are successfull, you can query the Address Book on the thunderbird client.
