This feature is available with artica 1.3.100420 version
The goal of this topic is to support your ISP mailbox in transparency mode.
Internal messages will only use Artica server and external messages will use your ISP server.
The goal is :
- I have a mailbox This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it on my ISP server
- This ISP require to be authenticated to send mail trough.
- I have a local domain "domain.tld" on my artica server and a mailbox This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
I want to send mails trough my ISP and change my sender address from This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and let postfix authenticate.
Open the user panel and click on SMTP Relay icon.

Set the ISP SMTP mail server in "SMTP server address" field used to usually send your mails.

- After editing the popup display you 2 new icons.
- Click on the first icon "Authentication settings"

- Set the user name and password used for sending mail trough ISP

Select the second icon "Rewriting sent Address"

- Set your ISP email address.
