this feature rejects generic reverse DNS patterns covering a large section of ISPs in the US, Canada,Europe, and elsewhere.
more than 1.600 patterns will try to block mails from computers trying to send mails behind Public ISPs.

These computers/clients usually send messages using their ISPs SMTP official servers, there is no sense to send messages directly.
Enabling this feature will block this behavior.

Your postfix MTA needs to enable PCRE feature, Artica only allowing to enable this feature is PCRE is enabled.
Check your postfix installation before (For example, on Debian you just need to launch apt-get install postfix-pcre command line)

  • Click on Messaging/Main Parameters on the left menu.
  • Select Security settings tab and click on Senders computers Restrictions icon

To enable the feature, check the "Enable Generic rDNS Clients check" box and click on apply button
