Adding Anti-spam white list or black list by sending an email to robots

This feature is available with Artica version 1.3.072600

It allow you to create "robots" in order to automatically save new emails in white or black anti-spam list.

It is useful for your users : just send an email to manage their lists.

This feature is compliance with SpamAssassin and Kaspersky Anti-spam softwares.

Enable robots

The first operation is to allow organization's administrator to create their robots.

  • Go into Messaging/Index section. on the left menu
  • Click on Filters (Anti-Spam,Ant.. tab

  • Select White & Black List Admin icon.
  • On the new screen, click under the Auto-learning section

  • On the new screen, Turn to green the Artica White/Black List Robots option
  • Click on Edit button in the same section.

Create Robots

The robot creation is under each organization. Each organization can have it's own email address (has robot) .ni

  • Go into your organization.
  • In the Management section, click on  Artica White/Black List Robots icon

In this section you can add robots that will receive mails from your users to add black or white anti-spam emails in SpamAssassin and/or Kaspersky Anti-spam gateway software.

 

After this operation don't forget to do a Save & apply Policies under the messaging section.

How your users can add black or white lists ?

It is very simple.

Your users have just to send emails with a list of addresses (with carrige return has separator)  in the body to the defined robot.

The star caracter "*" is supported.

for example : 

Subject: what you want
Body :
  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
 
user1@domain.*
*@domain.*
*@*.biz

To delete a mail add the "-" caracter before the of the email (without space) :

  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
 

User can add one email in the subject too

After submission, the robot send an email confirmation  to the user.
