Automatically reply to messages with the Out of Office (artica-filter)

This feature is available with artica version 1.4.011720

If you are under this release you need to upgrade your Artica version.

it allow you to add automatically blind carbon copy in each mail that an user will recieve.

This feature using Artica-filter, you need to enable it fisrt .

If your users will be out of the office for a holiday, vacation, or other circumstance, they will able to set an auto-responding Out of Office message to alert those who try to contact them via email.

Out of Office parameters are set in the End-user interface

The "Messaging" area will display a new icon "Vacation message" if artica-filter is enabled.

 

The interface is set in 2 parts.

  • The first allow user to set the start and the end date of their vacation. between these dates, artica-filter will reply automatically to senders with the Out of Office message.

  • The second "Out Of Office events" will display logs.

When artica-filter send the auto-response message it will add to Mysql events of this response.

artica-filter use stored Mysql Events in order to not send email each time senders send emails.
the auto-responder query mysql table in order to verifiy if messages are already sended.

If you want to perform severals tests, you need to click on "Delete all" button in order to clean the mysql table and resend mails.
