This topic is usefull if you want to import mails from an external imap server such has Microsoft Exchange server or other Imap mailbox storage system.

This section use mailsync has the main synchronize engine (see http://mailsync.sourceforge.net/ ).
If you didn't have it, artica will inform you in the settings area and try to install it yourself with your favorite repository manager (yum,zypper,urpmi,apt-get...)

 

 

On Artica, select an user and select the Mailbox tab and click on "import & Synchronize external Mailbox" link in the Toolbox

 

 

Fill the form in order to set the remote IMAP server and mailbox

Click on "Save", if the form is correctuly saved, you will show the testing area.

 

 

Click on "test Your connection" button, if the test is successfull, a new button appears in order to allow you starting the importation.

 

After few times, if you return on this section, you will show a picture with en pen and a folder that allow you to view the current or last events...
