This feature has been improved "since the first development"

It based on ImapSync

imapsync is a tool for facilitating incremental recursive IMAP transfers from one mailbox to another.

It is useful for mailbox migration, and reduces the amount of data transferred by only copying messages that are not present on both servers. Read, unread, and deleted flags are preserved, and the process can be stopped and resumed.

The original messages can optionally be deleted after a successful transfer.

For example:

  • you can synchronize mails from 2 externals mailboxes.
  • you can update 2 mailboxes stored on your ISP
  • you cna export local Artica Mailbox to a remote server or the opposite.

On this new feature, user can open this section in the Artica End-User Web console and set itself these parameters.

The importation process should consume performances, so be careful with this feature"

  • On the user account section, choose "Import & Synchronize External mailbox"

When adding or editing a synchronize rule you can define parameters on the Source Imap server and destination Imap server.

The "Mailbox Folders" section allows you to define specific mailbox folders to synchronize.

The "Advanced options" section help you to set specifics parameters according the remote/local folder.
