This topic helps you to transform your Artica server has a domain logon in order to link yours users to a Linux/Windows Domain.
Set General settings
You need to transfrom Samba has a Domain Controller in order to fake Windows Workstation.
After this operation, you samba will be a Domain server.
- On the left pan, Click on Files Sharing menu.
- On the new popup screen, select Samba Shares Engine icon
- You need first to build defaults groups.Click on Rebuild Common Groups Icon. This will add standard groups has Administrators, Domains Admins... groups
- On The worgroup field, set your Netbios Domain name that your windows/linux client will see in the network browser tree.
- Turn to green the Domain logons option.
- Click on "Save" Button in order to make settings into production mode.
