Link local folders to home directory user

This feature is available in 1.3.070802 artica version.

It designed to allow user to browse and write files to a directory outside it's home folder.
It is useful for webmasters who wants to uploading or updating files into a web site folder.

This feature is available for all protocols used in a Artica  server.
You can use FTP, HTTP, SMB, SSH for updating the mounted directory.

 

  • Open the user profile page 
  • Select the Account tab
  • Click on "Home Binding" in "options" section (this feature is displayed only if you have pure-ftpd or Samba installed).

  •  On the new scree, select "Browse" button in order to get the folder you want to add in this user home folder.
  • Click on Add button to save the source folder.

  • Once the source folder is saved, your user can browse this new folder in it's home directory.
  • you can dismount or mount this folder by clicking on the circle.
  • If the circle is green then the source folder is mounted on the Home Directory.
  • If the circle is red then the source folder is not mounted on the Home Directory.
