With the url filtering (Dansguardian) and in some cases, your users can encounter "false positive" detection.
A banned web site that should be not banned.
You can allow some users to fill automatically the exception web sites list in order to allow surfing.
Enable this privilege can be done trough goups privileges :
- Select your organization and go into the Management group.
- Choose your group or add a new one.
- Choose the Privileges icon.
- Click on "Users privileges" tab
- Turn to green the Allow exclude web sites trough banned web page option.
All users added in this group should automatically add banned web sites into global (default rule) exception list.
When the user encounter a banned web page like this example, a button "Continue..." is displayed.
After clicking on the button, the user is redirected to a new web page
This new page ask to him it's account and password.
If the user is a member of the group with Allow exclude web sites trough banned web page enabled the web site will be automatically added to the exception site list and the DansGuardian product reloaded.
After all operations completed, the user will be redirected to the original web site without any blocking activity.
